Yes, Keri’s career basically ended after the Turnin’ Me On Remix and the Happy Birthday “wishes” to Beyoncé. Platforms like Twitter, constantly reminded Keri of that. One thing about Keri, to a lot of people, her first album was a fantastic album. Ester and Polow Da Don, should have gotten the same treatment as Keri. As far being blackballed. Allegedly Polow Da Don was angry that JayZ, brushed his shoulders off and ignored Polow, that was the reason for the remix.

You’ll act like you’ll forgot what happened with Keri Hilson. I understand the young kids because they don’t know anything about her, but we all were around to see what happened to Keri.
I felt so bad for her because I truly loved her music and thought she was super talented. She really had a huge buzz around her, too. Chile, I had no clue though that Esther wrote the diss then allowed for Keri to take all the scrutiny and hate, while she went on to have a great career in both singing and acting. What’s more grimey, idk if you’ll remember this but Esther was in the industry a long time, before her career popped off, working behind the scenes as a writer like Muni Long. So she knows how trifling this industry is. Yet her and Polo left Keri to be completely blacked ball from the industry. Sadly, people (the carters and the beyhive) should never have that much power, to the point where they can end someone’s career/livelihood over some words you dislike. Which is hypocritical because Beyoncé had “Bow Down” which is a diss track to other female artists and they most likely felt that her lyrics weren’t nice.
Seriously that’s like one of our colleagues telling management that we said something mean about them and without hesitation you’re fired plus other departments are instructed to not hire you forcing you to change the trajectory of your career. I truly pray that Keri becomes the successful artist that she was destined to be and that she is protected by God and her angels 🙏🏽❤. My heart goes out to Amerie too. Now she was that chick, but another Beyoncé tale for another day 🥺.

Keri also had a personality problem with fans which made things worse for her when the song came out. The song did not do well. However, Keri is a beautiful, and extremely talented sister and all of her songs were a bop!
