Imagine if a creature evolved to have a wallet with $100 bills coming out of it and it only hunts humans.

Not only the physical traits themselves. But look how it wiggles to make static protrusions mimic the movements of spider legs too!
It does kinda look like an AI was asked to animate a spider walking and this is the result.
The muscle, bone and control to do all this speaks to so many layers of adaptation. And so specifically!
arbhall
That’s terrifying and incredible at the same time!

Only God can come up with a creature like this.

Native to western Iran, spider-tailed horned vipers move their tail in a way that looks just like a crawling spider in order to lure prey closer. This tail is said to be “the most elaborate predatory lure” found in snakes

Might have just found my new favorite snake! That is amazing adaptability and evolution all in one!

I randomly stumbled across the full video of this snake. I remember there was a bird that landed on a rock and I’m looking everywhere for the snake but couldn’t find it. Saw the “spider” and just thought that maybe it’s the spider that’s gonna somehow kill the bird. It wasn’t until the snake lunged out for the kill that I saw the damn thing. That damn tail has to be the best camo I’ve ever seen. At least on par with a dang octopus.
Drusiah
The craziest thing is that it knows how to use the tail like a spider intentionally to lure birds
relaxationmusic
I truly don’t believe that that snake was made just by pure evolution. No Way!

There's times in history where mother nature gives humanity the middle finger. This is one of them.
