Today AD takes you to the Russian Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, where adjacent to the iconic twists of Lombard Street lies a super luxurious estate like none other. Residence 950 encompasses a full city block, the equivalent of six regular-sized lots. Across more than 9,500 sq. ft. sits the 5 bedroom/6.5 bath main residence, joined by a lush garden to the personal wellness cottage - complete with sauna, steam room, massage area, and spa. Beneath the garden hides a personal art gallery, given natural illumination through built in skylights. A cantilevered, 4-sided infinity edge pool extends out towards the property line, offering a 270° view of San Francisco and the Bay (including the infamous Alcatraz island.) When it’s time to head out, residents can rotate one of their cars on the garage turntable before driving down the “Batcave” tunnel and emerging into the California night.

You know what I could do with 40.5 million dollars?! A whole lot more than that.

Imagine being a kid being late to school and being like
"The turntable in our garage wasn't working so we had to drive out of the tunnel backwards and we hit the wall"

"A super bowl party that can include hundreds of your friends. "

Many assumptions were made in one simple sentence.

It's kind of hilarious hearing him talk about sustainability and being eco friendly with an estate this size.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but considering where it is located and the many features of this large house and property, $40 million is a pretty reasonable price, all things considered.

At least we can use this as an inspiration for our own homes. After this I bought two cheap bottles of wine for my cellar, and let the water running in my bathtub so that I have an infinity pool! I put my portable speaker under the water, but I found out it wasnt waterproof

I was most impressed with the fact that they're using rainwater to flush the toilets. A next-level approach to San Francisco's current sewage system where they use the rain water to wash the fecal matter off the
