I ended up getting this after your review. 750 out the door with delivery and an additional 2 year warranty tacked on the 2 year that powersmart already has.

My inherited PowerSmart 208 cc 24" started and worked fine this big winter but was undersized for wind drifts and wet spring snow on the 700' driveway. The auger housing separated at the lower seams and it threw an auger bearing. It took a bronze bushing from ACE, reinforcing L brackets on the housing and a new belt to get it going. Be careful pushing side to side through plow deposits and check the housing welds.

Hi Kyle I purchased this machine because it weighed 150# which I thought was a good weight for me being 80 years old. The snow blower works great with the powerful engine it throws the snow a long way. The only concern is sometimes with all the vibration the speed control will move ahead to a faster speed. To correct the problem I installed a bungee cord on the speed control rod. Very happy with the purchase.

Here in Toronto Home Depot has a Power Smart 212CC for $799.00 Canadian plus tax. I will be buying this shortly. I take care of my machines (Last one MTD lasted 17 yrs.)The Pully rocker arm started to wobble(AND Break belts) so I can't fix it plus it had forward only So I am getting older so I seen the PS 212cc SO I will be buying that shortly. Those machines work better for 12"inch bites. I know the CHUTE and rotate lever sticksss but they all do. A Waterproof grease will help that. Anyways nice video.
