Wondering what it's like to travel in Europe in 2021? This week I flew from Lithuania to Germany on a quick Ryanair flight and it was far easier than I thought. But there are a few things you'll need to know if you are planning a trip to Europe at the moment!

Just for the record, FFP2 masks (equivalent to N95) and surgical masks (the flimsy blue ones) are widely on sale at drugstores like the Rossmann or DM chains all over Germany. The FFP2 masks come in packs of 5 at Rossmann for €4.99. They charge €3.99 for a pack of 10 surgical masks. They also come in single packs. Familiar over-the counter pharmaceutical brands like Atapharma.

I'm confused. What kind of mask must you wear in Germany? I wear locally sourced masks, which are much better than the standard hospital masks.

why they asking in hotels for your travel, its usually for hotel summery what kind of tourist is staying, like business travel, leisure visiting or etc. Its easier for them what they have to focus for hotels customers etc..Enjoy your trip

Doesn't Ryanair require additional passport check at the check-in for non-EEA citizens anymore?

I will be travelling to Germany in the next 4 days and will be going to Austria, Budapest Czech, Slovakia then back to Germany( Berlin). All of this in 2 weeks.

Please tell me hows the weather like ? I dont know how to pack.
Also let me know if you know travel restrictions of the countries I mentioned

HI Iam lithuanian but traveling to Germany so often and they do ask you whats the purpose of your traveling because they have an extra charge in hotels for tourists.if you tick in hotel check in form that you have an business trip they wont charge you 😉.Doesnt cost a cow(around€ 2.5) but if you on a very strick and limited budget will work very well.
