I'm a disabled, 40 year old virgin male. I can't handle outdoors or heavy lifting. So I suppose I'm an example of what was mentioned. I worked, still have a belief in hard work, didn't choose this. I came from past abuse, have PTSD and depression, as I have continued to experience oppression. I didn't just give up. So that was interesting the mice experiments. So several things. My Christian faith is still the cornerstone of my life and its terrible to see how so many churches have gone the wrong way and people departing the faith, the breakdowns of family units and all these things. I still have hope. I still pray and strive to do what I can. My virginity is because I believe in abstinence until marriage, but I've had girlfriends in the past. I think maybe I have asexual tendencies. However as I struggled for survival and burned out, I obviously was not thinking about romance and procreation. I also see the high rates of divorce. Romance is just not an important thing in my life and I'm not alone because of my connections and friends through church and AA. So I've still a sense of purpose. If I do get married it'll be in God's time and I prefer to adopt a kid from a disadvantaged background and try to create for him or her a better life than try bring a baby into a world with so much going out of control. But I don't rule out the possibility of my own kids. With population growth and scarcity the former seems to make sense. We have a ruling Elite that create through greed and wars these conditions and I believe we are living in the End Times. All the signs are there. I just want to try to live for the Lord as best I can and pray for others, help others as God would lead me to, and be a living example for Him.

Ever since I was a little kid I felt something was wrong with me. I wasn't interested in football teams. I could not stand shallow, frivolous jokes which were annoying instead of amusing me (they still do). I could not understand why people were so enthralled to know details from the lives of "celebrities" such as actors and singers (and still cannot). I had peculiar interests such as physics, technology and history, which were not shared by many others. I guess I was born in the wrong time, place or both.

A good friend of mine went to college during what I would call the tale end of the U.S. Age Of Intellect. He majored in politicial science and history. He was elected president of the student body his senior year.
