Congratulations on your new puppy! I have some tips if you'd like:

I noticed when you showed where the grooming supplies where that you have the wrong brush (or maybe you did have the right one and I just didn't see). Longhaired breeds need wire brushes to get the mats out of them. If you don't have that then I recommend you get one for the future.
Speaking of brushes. Get him used to getting his paws touched and bathe him as early as possible so that this will become normal for hime when he needs to go to tge groomer since I assume he will have to go to the groomer eventually.
If he doesn't like the toothbrush (like my dog) then raw bones are good for him when he's older. Just make sure they're raw and not cooked bones. Cooked bones are dangerous to dogs.
Puzzle toys are a great form of excercise especially for puppies since they're so energetic. It tires them out a lot
Socialisation should begin as soon as he's fully vaccinated. If not you could end up with an aggressive, fearful or reactive dog.
Anyway those are some of my tips and I hope that they help :)

Omgggg I have 2 mini dachshunds!!! Yours is soooo cute hope he doesn’t mis behave too much and puppy dachshunds usually eat like anythign u leave on the floor so yeah I hope u enjoy having him now
