That's one of the things nuclear power struggles with is that people can't comprehend how insanely dense nuclear fuel is compared to anything else.
It's just really hard to think about the orders of magnitude difference.

When mentioning the waste amount, is that amount of waste generated over what time period? Is that per household or nationwide or somewhere in-between? Otherwise it's hard to know if the amount you mention is a lot or a little.

But is the build and maintaining cost higher than alternatives like catching wind/water or sun energy?

I know for a fact that here in Germany the nuclear power (we have none now but in the past) was getting subsidized by roughly 4, 5 Cents per kW/h to make it “cheaper”

I also think it doesn’t matter how big the amount of whaste is, but how radioactive it is after disposal.

I’ll wait for fusion which will generate benign and potentially useful helium whilst taking the tritium it generates and consumes in a closed loop within the reactor. No nuclear waste other than potentially the neutron activated structural elements of the reactor.

Please create a video on Nuclear waste recycling. which products/isotops are recycled and which metals can be reused from Nuclear waste. I just want to explore a possibility of creating a start up company from Nuclear waste in India. Is it possible?
