The new Sequoia is a capable, yet polarizing SUV with a complete swap in attributes compared to the previous one. Today, I will go over the highs, lows, what’s new to show how it stacks up to vehicles like the Nissan Armada, Chevy Tahoe, Ford Expedition, Jeep Wagoneer and more.

I have the limited and it's Amazing!!!! It's definitely a show stopper. People come up and talk to me all the time.

Had a 2000 4Runner Limited. That AWD mode for wet roads was great.

If batteries do suck up the space !! Why don't Toyota offers it as a non hybrid just like the tundra !??

At this price point, you should have a lot more comfortable seats. They are horribly uncomfortable long-term just like the tundra.. in the rear storage configuration is a joke, great looking vehicle but for that kind of money there a better solutions out there

just wish the 3rd row was gone when folded takes up tp much cargo space

I'm not a huge fan on the Cargo but no one should be complaining about the MPG, it sits right with smaller SUVs and it MUCH improved over the older V8, which is usually 12 -13mpg, in 2WD mode....

3rd row legroom is joke for full sized suv. They messed this one up

I heard it’s really loud and has no space behind the third seat.

Cargo area is aweful. Hearing REAL MPG is lower than advertised. Keeping my 4Runner or trading for Expedition.

Two biggest misses: no full time AWD, cargo volume isn't much better than the Highlander/4Runner

Wait these only sell 15, 000 a year? No wonder Toyota phoned it in.

It’s 35 cubic feet smaller. And also smaller than the current 4Runner behind the first row.

It’s not really a sequoia per their own ideology. They used the word sequoia due to largeness like a tree.

This is more of a….midsize suv now being a tad smaller than a 4Runner. So maybe call it a magnolia tree instead of a sequoia. Or maybe a shrub bush.

The Toyota Shrub. It fits.

I’m glad I didn’t sell my second gen!!!

Sorry, but it does not have more interior space (cargo or legroom) in any configuration, than the 2nd gen. The 3rd row on the 2nd gen has substantially more legroom and cargo room behind than this gen. Not even close...
