The Nigerian Mission in South Africa has sent out an advisory to Nigerians living in the country to be careful and vigilant at all times.
This follows reports about a group threatening to attack foreign nationals on the 2nd of September under an operation called 'Dudula'

You people don't understand what is going on south africans have no problem with Nigerians and any other African nationals, the only problem is the illegal ones who commit crime such as hijack buildings sell drugs, sex trafficking south african young girl and human trafficking, those are mostly illegal Nigerian operations in south Africa and we know them we have been leaving with them for ages, no there are good Nigerians also that are not be involved in this whole thing and live peacefully among the people and doing legit businesses or working, same with Zimbabwe that are here legally they are very much welcomed here, the problem with zim is that they came in numbers as illegal immigrants to compete in a country that is already having unemployment problems and since they are undocumented its easy for them to be exploited and used as cheap labor for example if the position of the job requires an employer to pay R10 000 mp to a south african worker the implore would rather hire 2 zimbos and pay them 5000 each or less with more hours because they are desperate and can't complain to anyone cause they are illegal in the country, leaving our own citizens and youth hungry with out a job or the ability to raise capital from these small jobs to start a business or something
