Sri Lanka clearly showed that we were at least 20 runs under par. Middle order's strike rate was low. The less said about the fielding & bowling the better. Lots of improvement needed.

He should resign. Players weren’t good in fielding. Even they weren’t interested in running behind the ball with their full strength. Smriti scored runs but not fast enough. Most of these players are quite experienced. So why mental block or nerve holding issue was there?? What’s the role of a coach then?? When jemimah got run out, few runs reduced from the total. It was sad that smriti didn’t tell her partner to stop and not to run because the ball already collected by the fielder. Not good team effort.

Stop giving excuses like one odd day & bad 45 minutes. This is exactly why our men's team kept losing finals till 2023. Finally Rohit said that they needed to change their mindset. They did it in 2024 & won. If you want to win icc trophies stop saying this one odd day thing. We need to win icc trophies not bilaterals

Illogical decision from captain after winning toss should have bowled.. Radha yadav should never be picked .. play sneh Rana, asha leg spinner, for no. 3 try Priya punia or good temperment player .. start taking seriously matches against Ausw EngW will be very tough ahead in T20 World tournament.. don't be complacent for test wins

To me frankly, the defeat was coming for sometime. The Strategic approch of the team management is questionable for long.

Random Selection & dropping of players, especially freshers was on for sometime. (Chetrey at 03 in the finals was just one. Now she will be dropped for sure.)

The problematic issues of this team persist for long but never addressed. Earlier the team played with only 4 top batters & finding proper No.05 was the issue.

Management solved it by shifting Jemmy to no 05 and vecating the all important No.03 slot for donation seat like slot for trial & errors. A poor decision as you can always try & experiment with no 5 batter as your top team structure is in place. Trial & error at no 03 is a criminal offence & we've already lost few games because of that.

We have stars who fade in the KOs. But the alternatives were never attempted. Infact the batters who could challenge the top 5 are never there!! In WPL, we have teams studded with overseas players at the top. How will we find some? Priya Punia is not even picked for WPL ! Likes of Shweta & others kept warming the benches !!

In pace deptt. Renuka looks ordinary but Her alternatives, Anjali & Shikha are dropped for all. It's Pooja with Shreyanka who saved you from looking an all ordinery attack. Rookie Kanwar for S. Asha ??? What the heck!!

Without Shreyanka, Pooja the attack may look all ordinary. Dipti is sucessful only if there's pressure from the other end. Renuka is slower by a yard or two.

Few fielders in the elevan look slow movers & weak throwers. Catching of the best fielders is unpredictable because...

The fielders are seen deputed at any place unpredictabally. There are no fix places to them and therefore no special practice sessions according to there field placement. That's why they look confused

Bowling deptt is not tested against the all out attack by the opponent. In WC even SA with Kappy rolling arm will be a different proposition. Likes of Aussies, NZ, SA & England batters will come harder at you.

Injuries to the players also adding to the worries of the management.

Big problem is, Runs scored & Wickets taken against the infant teams are cherished by the box & the Reelers alike, to make stars out of some easy outings. You are not really tested in the AsiaCup & when they do, the team perished!

So, how come one can safely say, it's about one odd game?

Come on, you know the issue all along. Adamancy won't help the cause of the team & the mission.

I don't think we have even 1% chance to win wc we haven't won single white ball series in this year lost against eng aus and draw with sa and now bottled easy asia cup our captain mindset is very defensive and she can't bat with intent and also bowling exposed in big match today aus eng are quality sides they will badly thrash our bowling in wc 😞😞

Maha ghatiya bowling and usse bhi maha ghatiya fielding. It will be an insult to WC if this team reaches final with this fielding standard. This is not a one off match. They hv been consistently bad fielders - Harman, Shafali, Smriti, Renuka all r pathetic fielders. All of them combined drop at least 2 catches every 3 match apart from leaking runs. Even Pakw field better. They took outstanding outfield catches in SF to make a match out of it. Please drop Renuka after WC.
