💰Switzerland budget 💰

🤑 how much we spend in Switzerland! 🤯

Guys, we won’t lie to you, Switzerland is expensive! Definitely something to keep in mind.

We’re also not budget travelers, we’re not luxury by any means, we’re more mid-level.

🚞 for our transportation we bought the flex Swiss pass for 8 days and paid before we went, it gave us access to all public trains, buses, ferry’s, funiculars etc. it also gave us discounts to several activities! Swiss pass was definitely worth it and we highly recommend!

🏩 we stayed in 3 ⭐️ hotels, but we’ll be honest hostels were NOT much cheaper. They are still quite expensive. That being said we liked our hotels and all of them offered free breakfast 🥞

🏔️ the most expensive activities were Jungfrau (top of Europe) and Shilthorn, we would say they’re worth it, but it is pricy. Skiing was also expensive due to renting all the gear! If you have your own it says so much 💰💰

✈️ flights will obviously vary, but for us the cheapest auto port to fly in to at the time was Zurich.

🌯 food was pricier here as well, but it was all wonderful quality and SO worth it. We love food so this was something we truly indulged in. Not to mention this was during the Christmas markets so we ate quite a bit there. Ways to spend less: cook and go to grocery stores!

All in all this was around $6880 total, for two people including flights. We spent around $250 per person/ per day including food, stay, and transportation.

Not our cheapest trip, but it was a great one! Let us know what you think 👇🏽
