Looks like you are going to need or build some type block and tackle and maybe an A frame setup to help lift the rest of the logs on top. Otherwise, you could be looking at getting hurt or back strain. Thumbs Up for the project!

+is it possible to get to your cabin via boat on your weekend trips to continue your build? Also, when the river floods, how do you plan to keep your cabin from being moved by flood water?
