My dad had one club in my garage when I was a kid. A Wilson 9 iron. My yard was small so all I could do was practice flop shots with it. My favorite shot to this day and I'm pretty good at it, but I do use a wedge now. I only broke one window and dented the pool in two spots. 👍

I have a 60* Cleveland CBX full face and I love it. I use it all around the green. Feels solid and it helps me get up and down from all sorts of places.

Just got the full face in 50, 56 and 60 👍🏻

I got myself a cbx full face2, 60 degrees. It's a whopping big face, nice for high bounce escape situations (my standard lob wedge has practically no bounce, so tends to dig too much in soggy conditions) What I seriously love about the full face is that I am able to give the "toe down" chip some check... those extra groves on the toe can really grab the ball.

Great video as usual! Really enjoyed you being on my golf spy. I bought a 64* in these and absolutely love it. Cleveland may not have been first to the dance but they are most impressive!

I recently purchased a steel shaft Cleveland CBX2 wedge in 54* with 12* of bounce and my confidence level has increased. It's a great club around the greens and over bunkers.

Have the RTX Zipcore set myself and I have been on the fence about putting one in the bag. Mainly the 58, like you said just in case. I’ve found that part of the face on certain shots and feel like they would have ended better if the grooves were there as opposed to them not being. May even end up putting in a 54 as well, but that’s where I’ll stop. I prefer my 50 be standard simply because there is little to no instance where I’m opening that face up beyond a couple of degrees so I don’t see a point in the “safety net” as you called it. Nice review and glad to hear I’m not the only one who likes the way these look especially compared to the high toe style that is just off putting to me personally.

I have the Callaway’s MD5 full face. I agree that it’s not needed but it is great to have when you have the once in awhile flip shots.

Just bought a full face 60* to blend in with my zipcore gap and sand wedge 👌 first Cleveland wedges I’ve owned and the feel is better than anything I’ve used before ☺️

Mark, I would agree - I picked up that raw finished 59/9 wedge and it looks fantastic to my eye. Also, the stock, non-upcharge, heavy Spinner shaft, had some flex to it where I felt you could use this flex, on half swings, to feel that unloading into the ball. I move between 2&3 wedge setups, but like you, I think I would stay with a 52/58 combo if that 58 felt exactly like this one does - I think I've talked myself into buying it tomorrow. The raw, no reflection finish with slightly softer but heavy Spinner shaft is a win in my opinion.

I bought a Cally 56deg with 12deg bounce and it helped change the way I hit wedges and gap wedges around the green. No chunks.

Those RTX wedges look good. Like you say nice to have the option especially for higher handicappers who don't bring four wedges to the course.

I have two wedges in my bag right now, a Callaway and a Taylormade both with full face grooves. I like the look as well.

I bought the 56 full face because I was looking for help out of the bunker, also helps in other areas of the short game
