This takes me back to my childhood sitting in the pew at Good Friday services. Then is was just a tradition that my family participated in, Now as an adult and fully aware of what he gave for me it brings me to tears. Have a blessed Easter all!

On holidays I (like most others I believe) think of my family who are no longer with us and I always get melancholy when I do so. Easter was always extra special and exciting. New dresses, white gloves and shoes. All topped with that extra special new Easter bonnet (necessary to hide that overly curly Tony home permanent that mom gave us). Mom said it wasn't good to spend too much time missing those who had gone but Good Friday and all souls day were both OK. The best thing about Good Friday was that we knew there was a bright happy future right around the corner and everything would be all right. Today Christ did die - but soon he would be risen - and one day we will all be together again! Thank you so much for this beautiful Easter gift!
