What’s funny about this is that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet gave many different ways for Pokémon to provide food without actually killing them.

Veluza can lose huge parts of its body and grow it back without issue, Nacli is completely fine with giving away salt, Fidoughs breath creates dough, Gamefreak is really trying to give excuses for not eating Pokémon. Which even that doesn’t work since mon’s like Klawf are straight up shown cooked.
