Cambridge's evil rising bollards

These quite amazed me when I first came to Cambridge...they literally smash your engine to pieces if you attempt to get past.

They're not, 1:05,   "driving the wrong way down one way street" - it's just a no entry for most vehicles.

What you don't mention is that they also have to pay for the bollard to be repaired!

I could do with bollards on the road in front of my drive, to stop people blocking my drive with their vehicles

Bollards do not smash anything. They rise.
Drivers smash their engines by trying to drive over them.

theres somenotorious rising bollards in manchester city centre. there are some great vids of muppets who think they can get through by following a bus closely and they get destroyed
