I was 14 when this came out. Both the voices on the record and the TV performances of Lani Hall and Karen Phillip were the epitome of sensuality and sexiness to me.

The wonderful Lani Hall (just before she was Mrs Herb Alpert) on lead vocal, Sergio Mendes and also the Bosa nova scene for that matter was the stable diet of The South African Broadcast Radio (SABC) back in the late 1960s, many a night sitting in the back seat of the car on the way home in Cape Town I remember this being played on the Radio, many, many nostalgic memories, thanks Rui. As always, another wonderfully edited, detailed video matched by the impeccable sound quality, good to see you back!!!!....

Well, with everything that is happening in this world right now, with the crisis that is taking place on my side of the world, I was waiting to take the best moment to comment, in a more comfortable way, without any distractions and freely.
I must inform you: I've been missing your comments in my videos too!

Well, I must mention that the edition that I had, which was damaged, of this LP is the 1970 one; the vinyl was in poor condition, and prior to your videos, I did not know that there was an edition released in 1987.

Listening how good is this 2018 sounds, well, it is obvious that I already put it on my wishlist,

For me, this 2018 reissue sounds better than the 1970 one.

Quizá la música de SM no resulta demasiado "comprometida "en mensaje y forma pero mantiene ese encanto naif de la nostalgia, mas un toque elegante que tanto nos gusta .
