Despite his career success and social impact, even in the face of immense challenges, Macharia Gaitho has reminded me that a truly successful man is one who has built the type of bond he has with his children

A man's success is determined by the family he heads. This is a truly wealthy man. I enjoyed this conversation.

Adulting is inevitable but don't kill the child within you. Very well said🤍❤️

When they abducted him we were so heartbroken. They had no respect for an icon in the Media. This was wonderful to see

Wow. Such a beautiful family. Macharia Gaitho remind me of my late dad who was also a journalist. His lifestyle, he's writing, despite many times of being almost an absent father due to his line of duties gave us the best and spent quality time with the entire family. When writing his first book "White Highlands No More" he was almost turned to a local and international tourist
making endless safaris for his research materials doubled with his work as a press officer, still spared his free time off his writing to be with us. Watching Prof. and the girls reminds me of my childhood. Too Nostalgic. "The good old days"..

Short but impactful. I know Serah, but Mr Gaitho is one of those men i have followed, read from, respected and admired. Even when the state harrased him he remained humble and steadfast. In 9 minutes ive learnt what it takes to be a great dad. Thanks for doing this one this way.

This made me cry and reminded me of my diligent father who passed on in 2010. When he said his children helped him navigate their mother's death wueh tears flowing!!!

Be grateful for the dark, because without the dark, you cannot see the stars.
