Only reason I played and actually enjoyed fifa 20 was because of the covid lock down. Spending all day and night on a career mode was fun. I really miss dose days can't believe its already been 4 years since covid

this is the first fifa i played, i didn't have xbox live at the time, so i could only play career mode. I remember picking Sligo Rovers (ireland league) and gradually making it a super team that could win the champions league easily.

Those were good times.

FIFA 20 felt so fluid and responsive in FIFA seasons! I never played FUT because I just got tired of it for being essentially PTW.

Then EA removed my FUT founder status status because I didn't buy FIFA 20, I only played it on EA play.

I really enjoyed FIFA 20. COVID, player prices made you grind the game, I remember packing 88 IF Firmino and he was like 400k on the market. I would grind SBC accounts and the soundtrack was decent too. Much simpler times when I was in Year 9

I started in FIFA 22 in June 2022
But I've heard about FIFA 20 is really good. My dream is that icons can be used in career mode so you can play as Ronaldinho, Pelé, etc. But they sadly removed it.

If I remember correctly, fifa 20 just *a lot* of glitches when it was the current fifa. I'm not sure about ultimate team as I generally never really play it, but I know that the main complains and low ratings came from the countless offline glitches at the time. They must've fixed them in an an update (or perhaps multiple updates) in the past 2-3 years

+ I think more people had more time to play it so even if the game wouldn't have been *that* bad, I still reckon there would've been a lot of complaints as the more you play a game, the more bugs/glitches you come across
