Great build. I like the plexi addition as well. Just something different but nice. May I ask why the cabinet is so low? It makes my back hurt just to imagine running lumber through at that height?

I have the same reaction to videos like this one from Jon as Matthew does (see below). Jon, I do think the instructional value of your videos has been improved a bit simply due to finishing off the shop area and flooding it with brighter LED lighting. It's a pleasure to 'be there' from a viewer's perspective.

I'm gonna share this with my dad-in-law. He was given a planer and (hopefully) hasn't started on making a table for it. He has a Harbor Freight work table. I'm pretty sure he can make a taller cabinet to match the table height. More drawers! Nice clean build!

I'm gonna suggest he uses some clamps to attach the worktable to the rolling router table so that they don't have to stay attached.

Great tip on putting your end measurement againsts the side boards to get your width for front and back. I've been doing the math like a chump!

Nice cabinet, I like the plexiglass, great idea. I already made my Planer cart, and set it up so it was high enough to use my outfeed table, and workbench as outfeed tables for the planer also, it turned out to be a good idea.
