4K Explore amazing Hidden Beach at Lake Tahoe Nevada.
Показать описание
Hidden Beach might be the best way to describe Lake Tahoe’s Hidden Beach. Located just off of Highway 28 the recently developed bike and walking path takes you right to it. The beach itself is flanked by giant boulders with lots of sand for sunbathing, picnicking, and swimming. It’s a great place to spend the day just lounging and swimming.
During peak summer months it is recommended you get to the Hidden Beach by 9 am for easier parking and optimum choices to spread out your beach gear. Bring plenty of sunscreen, water and even an umbrella if you want some shade. You’ll find boaters like to anchor near the waters edge and swim. Also it’s common for kayakers and people on stand up paddle board to cruise through. Typically the water near the surface is a bit warmer which makes for a more pleasant dip in the lake.
The best parking choices, but limited parking, is near the intersection of Lakeshore Boulevard and Hwy. 28 in Incline, Village. Hidden Beach is about a half-mile south of the intersection and you can take the developed trail to the beach. Many visitors choose to pull over and unload gear and extra passengers right next to the beach and then send the driver off to find parking. If you want an easier beach to access check out our Lake Tahoe beaches map for other great North Lake Tahoe beaches in the area. The views and water are amazing so take your camera! This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Lake Tahoe.
