I never really understood the merit to this “theory”. Like yeah, Jack looks like Javier in rdr1 but he’s clearly imitating John’s appearance and in rdr2, he looks absolutely nothing like Javier (or Dutch) and is clearly made to look like John’s kid.

Jack looks the spitting image of John when he’s older in the epilogue of rdr 1, pretty sure Jack is Johns and the developers clearly had all the intentions of Jack been Johns son, they only added the doubt in rdr2 by inserting these sorts of chats however its pretty obvious Jack is Johns son when you see 19 year old Jack in rdr 1.

Regardless if Javier is Jack's real father or not, John was there to raise, feed, clothe, and provide a home for the boy nonetheless. He's always been there for him. Which will forever signify that John is Jack's TRUE father

Jack is Johns son, if you play RDR1 and do the stranger missions as Jack after John has had one interaction with the strangers a lot of them comment on how much alike they look, some even mistake Jack for John which proves to me Jack is Johns son and nobody else's

People always say that Jack looks like Javier in rdr1, even tho they have nothing alike. His mustache looks similar to Javier's, but anyone can have that kind of mustache, the reason why Jack have that line on his mustache is because of his bear encounter or in the 3 year gap, he got scratched. So no, Javier is not Jack's father. NOT AT ALL. Only idiots will say that he is Jack's father.

There's a possibility that Dutch might be Jack's father because they have similar noses, but if that's the case, then the gang would never work as planned, because John will hate Dutch for doing that, plus Dutch is 22 years older than Abigail.

There's also a possibility that Arthur might be Jack's father, but I'm sure Arthur knew that John had feelings for Abigail and there's no way he would have sxx with Abigail if he already knew that his own bro, John, had feelings for her. And Arthur had, like 2 girls on his life, so I think that's also a point that he couldn't be Jack's father.

How is it possible that Javier is Jack's father? I mean Javier joined Dutch's gang in 1895. In 1899, Jack Marston is 4 years old, that means that Jack was born in 1895. So, he could not be Javier because the gestation period normally lasts what 9 months?

I think John always knew deep down that Jack was his. I remember when he and Arthur were on their way to Shady Belle, he said that he "didn't want to believe that he was [his]" which suggests to me that he figured the whole time that Jack was actually his son. He just didn't want to admit it to himself due to him being insecure about his ability to be a father.
