Willy Wonka was a scary character to begin with, sending out these golden tickets to lure kids to his lair and promising them tons of candy.

If they did the 2005 version, then it would be a literal horror movie more gruesome than what anyone has ever come up with

The scary part is that Veruca's literal downfall here is actually less cruel than the actual movie considering the movie implies she fell into a furnace and "totally didn't actually UwU" burn alive. Here she'd probably be dead a lot quicker.

I loved how they left the eerie whistling after the first 2 deaths, wish there were more shots of Wonka whistling after each death 😂

Funny thing is- In this R-Rated version, ya’ll mentioned that Willy Wonka would just be a straight up serial killer, and you had a scene with Charlie killing someone. It’s almost as if when Willy Wonka said “I hope you enjoy it. I think you will” He might’ve sensed the similar psychopathic energy in Charlie-
