Loved your video! We just got back from Portugal too and visited Time Out in Lisbon. We found that if you order food from any 1 particular restaurant, they have reserved seating available on the other side of the main hall. We found that out by mistake and ended up eating something delicious! 😊

Minimum wage is actually 705€, not around $1500.
That's why it's cheap for Americans, cause portuguese have a low minimum wage.

You went to very touristy places.
You missed the public transport ferry across the Tejo, the soups (eg Caldo Verde) and the train ride along the ocean to Cascais.
Portugal is one of the nicest places in Europe.

I live in Portugal. I wish my minimum wage would be 1500 euros...it's 630, and it will reach 750 with the food subsidy. But not if you eat in the company you work, for example, who works in restaurants. Just so you see, that's what most families pay for house rent.

Still way more expensive than living in China.$75 is enough for a week’s food and accommodations in China. By the way Egg tart is just cost you $0.4 each in China

Very interesting video but you should definitely put a note that the minimum wage is actually 705€ per month. 1500€ is more than the average monthly wage.
