I think the reason that breaking a Creaking Heart gives you Monster Hunter is because doing so "kills" the Creaking it's connected to

It is pretty clear they are talking about the "spring drop" which is what you'd expect after the "winter drop" hinting they will reveal the date soon.

Im likely the sole person thinking this, but what if it's a "Spring Cleaning" update, where its focused solely on parity, and "cleaning" up the little odds and ends they've been wanting to handle that do "fit" a themed update.

I do not think mojang will ever add seasons. Mainly because of the same reason they won’t add natural disasters. If there were seasons you couldn’t control it’s the same as what they said about natural disasters, the Minecraft world is meant to be controlled by the player. And there’s a reason for biomes, so if you want snow you go to a snowy biome, if you want a sunny place then you go to a sunny place. If someone was trying to build a house where it’s all sunny and it starts to snow and they can’t do anything it makes it annoying.

I love the changes to the creaking heart. Now the only two changes I want is to have less mobs spawn in the pale garden and to have the creaking look up and down at the player when it’s frozen in place because it looks creepier.

I would hate it if Mojang added "seasons" to the game. I don't want to deal with snow layers accumulating all over my builds when it turns to "winter", or be forced to only build in certain biomes to avoid seasons altogether. A better option would be to give players the ability to dye leaf blocks.

Technically speaking, since it's a stationary puppetmaster, the creaking heart can be counted as a hostile mob. Question now though is does the advancement still count if you take resin clumps, make a creaking heart with them, activate the heart so a creaking appears and then destroy it. Also I predict an end drop will happen with 1.21.8 if it ever does.

The Hearts being rarer on bedrock being fixed just after the challenge ended makes me think that challenge was intended for Java players. idk why they would do that, but it seems odd to have most of you're player base have a much harder time contributing.

it doesn't get despawned with big distances as well
it's also not counted as entity in f3 screen

8:15 flowers will become able to bloom when in sunlight (maybe so they can be gardened/reproduced by the player or by bees, instead of running around to different biomes with bonemeal in Java), and the update will arrive in July/Summer.

Biomes already serve as seasons in a way, and seasons could only be added as global visual effects like rain because actually modifying the world's blocks would induce apocalyptic overheard and be impossible to do consistently.

I'll be totally honest, there's many reasons why I love Minecraft so much more than Stardew Valley. One of which is that Minecraft DOESN'T have seasons. I think adding seasons would ruin the game personally.

Newest base, built all along the top of the canopies. Dont need much defense since things can't spawn on leaves. Just make sure to sleep and avoid phantoms lol. Just don't look below, at least 4-5 creaking around whenever I look at night and no clue where the hearts are

Seasons update would arguably be one of the biggest and best updates, especially if they add season dependent crops or blocks. Realistically I don’t think this will ever be brought to Minecraft, especially as a drop.

Thank goodness they fixed the creaking hearts rarity. Now I can start looking for the pale gardens in my survival world :D
