Made in the USA so you know its good - not cheap asian crap Worked perfectly, stopped the noise and made steering smoth, i recomend it if you have just noticed a moaning noise while turing

This stuff works well. What it does is cause shrunken seals to swell back up. Unfortunately, after a while the seal fails completely because it gets too soft. If you are having leakage and squeals, just take the pump off and put an $8 seal replacement kit on it. The pump itself rarely fails, its the seals. they are easy to replace if the pump is off.(ASE certified mechanic) 12 years

i was in advance auto parts today and saw this product, wasn't sure if it would work so i didnt buy it, I didn't realize it would probably just be the seals. thanks for posting that, probably saved me $250 ... i have a 99 dodge dakota and it seems pretty easy to reach.... thanks again

To bad the Lucas didn't fix that window as well.

Half your problem is that the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.

NEVER put Lucas steering stop leak in your power  You MIGHT get away with it, BUT it can clog your rack and pinion and CAN'T be flushed out.  You will turn a 22 dollar line replacement into a 600 dollar rack and pinion replacement!!!!  I speak from unhappy experience.

I have used Lucas products for years and have NEVER run into any issues with their products at all.  They have always performed the way the bottle says it would.  I had an 87 Olds Cutlass Supreme that had a tapping in the engine and the oil stabilizer smoothed the out the engine and the tapping was gone almost instantly.  Great stuff.

This stuff works as a stopgap, but is not a permanent cure. It's very thick, like STP, and increases the viscosity of your PS fluid and maybe rejuvenates the seals to slow down the leakage.

I have yet to try this yet but I reckon it works better with gear box steering setups better than racks

Didn't work for me. I have added more than 3 bottles till now. The leak has slowed down. But that could be because it is more dense than the power steering fluid.

I bought this stuff a few weeks ago. My level hasn't gone down quite that much recently (since my car sends most of its time stationary) so I think I need to try draining out some fluid rather than just topping it off little by little. Hopefully it'll work since I'd rather not spend $160 [1999 Toyota Corolla]

it works with all gear box and rack systems trucks and buses too

"Made in America so you know it's good - no Asian crap"....you drive an Asian car! and America also makes some pretty shoddy stuff, so being made in the US is no guarantee of quality!

Wow one clean engine, now that's love. BTW thanks for doing this I have PS leak too and was thinking about this.

Ouch, yea I'm hoping I don't have to replace the pump mainly because I don't want to drop that money right now (I'm finishing up school and getting married this upcoming summer) and also the placement of the damn thing will make it a pain to get to. My Corolla is an FF and the pump is behind the engine and way down. So what I'll do is try using two bottles of this stuff (since the guarantee goes up to two bottles) and if that doesn't work I'll get my money back and buy the pump. Fingers crossed
