For the people saying this music for the trailer makes no sense, read the description of the video and I think you'll get a better understanding. This should be the kind of music playing when you are your planet's last hope at survival. You can witness other planets being destroyed at the end of the trailer which explains everything. I think the music is perfectly fitting and invokes a sense of helplessness as you witness these characters facing a relentless assault of enemies. Great trailer, Gearbox. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Also, the game isn't initially planned to come out on the next-gen consoles, Gearbox hasn't taken that step yet and are sticking with the colorful artwork (like a comic book) that the new consoles just can't provide.
I don't know what's up with the font though... just deal with it? Doesn't really hurt anybody does it?

Gearbox Software, makers of the super popular Borderland games, has let the world know what they are working on next. It is called “Battleborn” and is a FPS / MOBA hybrid game using a very stylized graphic set. Battleborn is set to drop on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2015.

I liked the bit about running through a primitive looking forest and having it look slick and agile. Then the daper clockwork robot, cheesy red sword guy, and hilarious gatling gun beefcake showed up, and I wasn't sure what to think. The trailer doesn't really tell you much. Can't say it's caught my interest yet.

I do kinda want a game where you get to nimbly freerun through forests and along branches now though...
Y'know, with stuff to hunt, and stuff that genuinely hunts you, and you run the fuck away from. I dunno. Somehow that tiny misconception got the imagination going. '-'

This looks a lot like it might play similar to something like firefight in forge which was always a blast to pick up and play with friends, which is awesome since it got abandoned a while ago. In regards to the graphics, I think they will fit in just fine considering the number of entities they are going to be displaying at any one time.

WOW a futuristic co-op shooter where you play as one of a few pre-built characters in an open world. way to really push the envelope and work outside your comfort zone gearbox

I am extremely hyped for this. So excited to see gearbox do something new, especially with their decision to move the office into my home town (Frisco, TX). I have a good feeling about what they'll do with this game.

I loved Borderlands. This looks pretty similar, so maybe this is the next gen spiritual successor to Borderlands 2. It looks like there might be a ton more enemies to fight at once, I wonder if this will play more like a Dynasty Warriors?

I don't get why so many think this is bad graphics anyways...Even though this is just a reveal trailer i think this style of graphics makes it look really nice and clean.
