I flew to Saipan for work a few years ago. I took my KX2, antenna, battery, laptop etc and a short length of RG59 with PL259s. I only had a few hours on a couple of days to operate. I set up my antenna, plugged in the battery and then went to connect the coax. Only then I realized I forgot a PL259 to BNC adaptor back home in CA. I flew from San Francisco to Honolulu to Guam to Saipan and back just lugging my ham gear for nothing!! It's not like you get the chance to operate from Saipan everyday. Talk about being pissed at myself!!
