Newborn babies receive injection vitamin K (injection into the muscle, IM injection) to prevent bleeding disorder called hemorrhagic disease of the newborn. This is very important, I discuss this important topic in this short video, but related to oral Vitamin K if parents for some reason, prefer the oral route (the IM route is better as it offers more definitive protection, but giving orally is preferred to missing it!
