Man I used to go to that hobby shop all the time when I was a kid with my dad for years. Moved to FL 13 years ago and have been looking at these things. I need to get one now !

For the pod light screws: thread them first with a bolt, then chamfer the screw holes on the pod with a body reamer. Helped a ton.

I just picked up mine yesterday!! It’s a badass unit.. I also did the light kit with light bar, pod lights and the functional brake an reverse light came out sweet

That hobby shop is unbelievable! I have a decent local hobby shop, but they could definitely use a little more inventory. Quite often, i find myself leaving empty-handed and ordering online. I tried to shop local but... Cool video! I can't wait to see it in action!

To me, words can have deeper meanings. For example Honda, it meant freedom for a young 12 year old when I got my first 3 wheeler. Traxxas means fun, buying my first and second traxxas and first hobby grade rcs, brought on life changing adventures.

I'd put orange lights by the wheels but overall awesome setup, this RadioLink rc6gs v3 7 controller would work all those lights individually I'm thinking, out of my price range but after this weekend the videos should be off the hook, can't wait to see her rolling at night 😎

I like this buggy but have not got any sand so would need to buy optional tyres.
I will be interested to know the fix for the light module issue as I have the same problem with my UDR not linking to the blue tooth so have to reach under the body at the front of the truck, so please let us know.

I’ve installed the pro light kit. Is it true you can’t turn off the whiplash & underbody lights when using the Traxxas link app? I can turn on/off the others.
