Let's Get Back Together is an original testimonial theatre piece based on interviews conducted with over 50 individuals from the LGBT community in Singapore. In light of increasing tensions between various communities about the issue, this play was created to discover what it really means to identify as LGBT in Singapore in this day and age.
Representing all corners of the community, the play is told through the voices of many brave and unique individuals that include drag queens, activists and transgendered sex workers. More importantly, the piece hopes to play an integral role in contributing to the public's understanding of homosexuality in our country and to take a first step towards reconciling differences.
It will be staged at from 2nd to 5th September 2014 in Singapore. The location will be revealed soon.
