I've been wanting to get into junk journaling for years and decided to take the deep dive today. After watching all 3 parts of your tutorial, I can happily say it is now 12:15am and I've completed 3 journals 🤣

I have a ton of left over books from my wedding and am so excited to put them to use.

Your instruction was clear and enthusiastic. You were also calming and reassuring, almost like Bob Ross. Thank you for sharing your talents with us- you are truly a teacher and an artist!

I had no idea that "junk journals" existed!!! You have utterly changed my whole world!! I have dabbled in many kinds of creative outlets, especially during and after cancer treatment. One of these creative ventures was Bible Journaling, so I have lots of ephemera left overs with no idea what to do with them. I could NOT throw them away! I've always had an affinity for paper, whether for writing or crafting, so I have lots of that as well. And books!! I just love books, especially old /used books. To me it feels like the used books have been loved by someone before me, they have their own stories to tell. No pun intended. So I have lots of books! People tend to give them to me when they learn that I love them. So... I have more than I'll ever get around to reading. A couple of days ago I had to have 4 teeth surgically removed, so last night was a little rough for me. While I was busy not sleeping, I was, of course, browsing the internet, as one does. I came across some beautiful pictures of these "books", the likes of which I'd never before seen. Further late night, pain med induced "browsing" (on pinterest at this point), revealed this wonderful art of junk journals!! Then somehow, I found my way to your You Tube channel! I was so excited that I almost called my daughter in the wee hours of the morning to share this wonderful "new" art form with her. Sanity won this time and I refrained from the 2am phone call. Then I realized that the first pictures I'd seen were posted about 8 years ago! How has this escaped me for so long?! Too late to make a long story short, but I am so glad I came across your channel!! After a little sleep, I've started watching your tutorials on how to make these beautiful journals from old friends/books. Thank you! I love your style and the way you talk to us like we're all friends just sitting in your living room, not like you're doing some fancy schmancy TV show. Can't wait to get started making my own junk journal! It may take me a while to actually destroy, I mean repurpose, one of my treasures, but this seems to be an awesome way to do something with them. I was thinking about insulating my tiny house (when I build it) with books between the studs, leaving parts open to be seen from the inside. I think this is better. Thank you so much! Sorry for writing an entire book, but you have inspired me so much!! Can't wait to get started! Off I go! First... To the bat cave! I mean, your amazon link to pick up a few things to help me along this new, exciting journey. You are truly inspirational at the exact time I needed to be inspired! Look how that worked out! Coincidence.... I think not. 😂

I’ve been watching tutorials on making Junk Journals for weeks. Today I stumbled upon yours. I’m so excited, I love your teaching style and how thorough your instructions are; best tutorials I’ve seen. I know I can do this! Guess what? I’ll be 80 years old in May. In the last year I purchased a Cricut and learned how to use it including “Design Space, ” learned how to epoxy tumblers, and started paper crafting by following “The Posh Paper Lady, ” and now Junk Journals. I love learning. I’ve subscribed and joined your Facebook group. I have company coming this week but I’m looking forward to the hunt for the perfect book when they go home. In the meantime, I’ll be binge watching your tutorials. Wish I could teach my dog to vacuum, 😇

You are an excellent teacher. It is very pleasant to listen to you and to watch you. Thank you so much for helping me with my journaling journey!!! Can you show us how to do crisscross sewing on the outside of the book? ( kind of like lacing tennis shoes. I love that look. Thank you so much. You’re fantastic. I’m 58 so consider yourself young. 😊

This was very helpful. I'm 69 and building my very first journal. In order to concentrate, I turn off the sound and just watch. Thank you, Pam. I'll be watching more of your vids.

I got some really great used books at my local Library... one was an African Art book from the 60's, so got some really cool pages, too.

I was on a sustainable farming FB group about what we can teach kids. Book binding was mentioned. I have never heard of such a thing. I loved watching all 3 of your videos. You have a great voice and I love your hand gestures. You make the video easy to follow and light hearted. I am going to check out what else you do. I’m so amazed at things people do that’s so doable. Cheers from MN

This is fun. Many year's ago my daughter and I went to the Paper Sourse, where they taught us how to create a book. Nice to see this spin on it. More creative.
