I know everyone talks about how college football is better when FSU is good, but I really get nostalgic when I see FSU going to blows with SEC teams. It's fun. Plain and simple. You're well researched on the team. FSU fan here that grew up in Georgia. Hearing the UGA fight song on the radio is Saturday in fall for me. So I can definitely relate to how you feel about the Noles.

As a fan I agree almost completely with your prediction. Although my record is 10-2. I agree that the lsu and clemson games feel almost like a guaranteed split. If we beat one we probably lose to the other. My other loss is to pitt on the road. It's in a bad road game stretch heading into the big miami game and we don't play pitt often. I just don't think this team has quite outgrown the headscratching losses in what should have been winnable games. I would always be happy to be priven wrong though. Should be an acc title year though since there's no divisions. It would suck though if my prediction plays out and we choose to beat lsu but lose to clemson and pitt and miss the acc title game depending on what clemson does. Also if we do end up being 11-0 heading into the florida game a I agree with what lou said in the schedule previews that florida would love nothing more than to play spoiler

100% agree, FSU is a good team but has to prove it can beat teams they’re better than with consistency and show they can keep their foot on throttle in big games and now allow teams to come back like the LSU game last year. They could be 9-3 just as easy as they could he 12-0, however I feel that the 11-1 or 10-2 prediction is most likely.

I'm excited but also pumping the brakes on buying into the preseason hype. September will tell the tale and imo we must beat clem this year more so than Lsu . Also have to beat the rest of the acc schedule

I think if FSU has any chance of going to the playoffs they must get that win over LSU. It's hard for me to choose who wins this game it's gonna be a solid matchup but I think LSU will get them this time.

I think this is the absolute ceiling for FSU. I see no way this team goes 12-0. I’d say they lose @ LSU and @ Clemson…then drop 1 more to go 9-3.

I’m stumped on the clemson game. I think that is a very tough spot to play in a hostile environment. I don’t want to chose them to start 2-2, but I think it’s very possible they can drop both of those games. This is why these predictions are so hard.

As an FSU fan this season feels like an on the fence kind of season. We could run the table and go 12-0 or 11-1. However we could also make mistakes and go 9-3 or 8-4. I love this team to death but this is the biggest make or break season to solidify what our identity is. Are we gonna be mediocre or be an elite top 10/ top 5 team? Only time will tell. Personally I believe we go 10-2 and make it to the ACC title game. If we get to the title game, win or lose, then this season is a huge success in my mind. FSU's recovery has really been about one step at a time. This season will be huge for us.
