I have 3 Pineapple tops I cut off planted in large pots, 2 years old now and doing fine. The should flower next year.

Put holes in buckets to drain excess water. Planting in ground is best. We plant in cloth bags so we can move in during cold snaps.

You put it in water right after taking it off the fruit 100 percent guaranteed to rot in the water let the bottom of the stock dry before planting is the best way don’t water often because they hate wet feet just water when the top of soil is dry poor the water right in the center I have grown hundreds of pineapples

It doesn't take all that to grow pineapple!Bloodmeal, bonemeal, cow manure or worm casting or chicken to check your soil, for moisture, use your finger stick in soil for moisture if wet dont water if finger is dry water!!!.You will have pineapple less than 18 month or less!
