The bus dropped them off at 1:00 in the morning because none of them wanted to be seen walking into the studio

Imagine being the writer: everyone around you gets cloned, and your boss just gives you piles upon piles of blank scripts for 12+ movies with the exact same name. Actually Illiterate is the most important person in this whole operation: $984 salary, 24 years of backbreaking constant scriptwriting for hundreds of cheap cashgrabs.

The year is 2033. The news has played the 473rd consecutive "Geriatric 27: Oh Thank Heaven" trailer instead of the ongoing nuclear war over advertising rights. You try to go to sleep, but the incessant knocking of the door to door movie promoters keeps you awake until 2:00 am, when the repurposed air raid sirens blast out the same teaser soundbites that you've heard thousands of times by now, just like they do every hour. You shove your head into your pillow and finally manage to rest. The instant your eyes close, you receive crystal clear dreams of a 90-year-old man pretending to be stabbed in a fire. You decide to preorder 19 tickets for release day and dozens more for the following week. There is no escape.

I worked in the film industry as a crew member for 15 years, and I can confirm this is a HIGHLY accurate depiction of my job.

This is just an average week of an executive at Hollywood

Imagine just driving and a giant empty lot with a sign saying "UNWATCHABLE GARBAGE" appears out of the corner of your eye.

"A mockery of the movie industry"

Josh in tears: it's just what I was going for!

i love how despite the clickbait looking titles, none of his videos are clickbait, and most of the time just surpass our expectations on what he is going to do

As someone who used to work at an office with exactly 4 toilets for 120 people, I can appreciate a hallway of toilets more than most.

24:10 "Okay I think I now understand how this game works" No I think you now understand how the actual film industry works

Josh actually recreated the formula for any current movie franchise: Ignore the reviews and focus on marketing and ticket sales. Gotta add shareholder value!

I'm genuinely impressed how this guy can take the most absurd offsetting approach to these games but somehow finds a way to beat them 10 times over

No sleep, no food, and a maze to get in and out sounds like great conditions for the kind of consciousness-altering experiences that make great movie scripts!

“Hey, bro, did you see Centennial 8 last night?”

“Yeah! Honestly, it’s gotta be the best heist movi-“

“Nono, the OTHER Centennial 8.”

“The medieval thriller?”

“No.”

“The medieval horror?”

“No.”

“The cyberpunk romance?”

“No!”

“Oh, the alien thriller?”

“Yeah!”

“Nope, haven’t seen it.”

Honestly, I'd probably be down to watch a movie from a studio with the self awareness to name themselves "UNWATCHABLE GARBAGE"

23:23 I would watch a movie about an astronaut with a hatchet in a dungeon.

Is there such a thing as TOO much shaky cam?

Today I learned that Josh has a massive amount of RAM for his computer, which is probably an evolutionary adaptation.

I just love how Geriatrics Huggin and Kissin's only buildup is the climax stunt, which is quite literally somebody jumpin and fallin over and over again. It has nothing to do with its title, it doesn't have music, it doesn't have any character development at all, and it still got some points. My life is now complete.

Josh I’ve watched you for like 3 years now and this is got to be one of the most IRL fits of laughter I’ve had to suppress watching one of your videos. Keep up the good work my friend
