Good news for democracy in Utah! An end to partisan gerrymandering!

Today we got some great news for Utah and for democracy that could completely reshape our state’s political future!

After one year of deliberation, The Utah Supreme Court issued a ruling today saying that our lawmakers ignoring ballot initiatives (or passing laws to dilute or alter them) is unconstitutional.

They are sending the gerrymandering case back to lower courts and we are optimistic that they will reinstate the independent commission, giving us fair maps and protecting the voice of the people in time for the 2026 election.
