I watched the full Material Design Tuts and it was awesome as usual but just 1 issue is that I am not able to practice on the Rotten Tomatoes API as they have started a License fee with a turnaround period of 60 days from the date of application so i don't think any of your new students will be able to practice on this..( FYI & A)

slidenerd Android Studio Version 1.1 beta 2 (Canary Dev. Channel) has problems using @nullable fields and apps with them won't run due to support plugins errors. Errors are solvented with today's 1.1 beta 3 update (going crazy with that!). Great job with that videos!

slidenerd hey can you please help me out? I am in a bind. I don't know what to do. Basically there are two activities in my app: SignInActivity and MainActivity which contains navigation drawer and has logout functionality in the drawer. My question is once the user signs in from Google plus or fb or twitter then he goes to the MainActivity and the object used for signing in is lost in the MainActivity. Moreover the user can sign out anytime after closing the apps multiple times. My question is what should I do? Should I serialise the object used for signing in and use it later for signing out? Or is tgere some better approach?

hi vivz what if I want an async task that i want to run in the background process using volley and I visit another page that does a request using volley will it be stack up in the queue? or volley will handle it for me? I was wondering If its possible if I can go to multiple page while the other page is loading data especially if the internet is slow. TIA :)

Hi, I have a question. As Volley ImageLoader must be invoked from the main thread, so can't we use this to download images asynchronously via Service Intent?

if the content of the uri is dynamic, how is cache updated with the same..? im assuming the request uri is same always..does volley internally takes care of it ?..if not how app is supposed to handle access dynamic content, with a unique uri

I guess the guys at RottenTomatoes have made some changes to there site and there was no API key link on their homepage as shown in your video.
Anyways I managed to get to that page with a bit of google search but now I am unable to find the way to get my API key .
Could you please check their latest site and tell me where are the modified links or how to find an API key.
