I've been farming PL for a long time by selling fish, gems, and mods. To be honest, I've been able to do this for so long because I find it kind of fun.
However, if anyone is thinking about doing this, I want to say this first. This business is possible because there are many players who don't find this process very fun.
it's not a bad way to sell what you can sell for other players who don't like grinding. However, make sure you don't lose interest in the game because of excessive grinding. Remember, we're playing this game to have fun. 😆

Btw resourceful retriever on your beast pet can also double the pickup, and for some reason it feels like its more than 18% for stuff like tags, fish and mining, as i've been getting double pickups about every 2 captures, or sometimes even multiple in a row. And it stacks with the resource booster. More tags per tag

resourcefull retriever on deimos is also solid, costs a lot of tags, but common tags and sells very fast for 8-10 a pop

I haven't played for some time, didn't even know we have these mods now. I was spending enough time in open world anyway before this, so it's pretty much my comfort zone.

For me if a farm isn't in the normal everyday gameplay, meaning I'm not getting endo, credit or resources ..., I'll rank that plat farm pretty low on my list I don't care how profitable it is, because if you keep doing one thing over and over again you'll get the idea to end your existence.

I personally always knew Conservation was a good platinum farming method but I'm still too lazy to open wf market even though I'm quite good at Conservation.
To add onto this video, every starting point and call point is predetermined so there is a lot of room for optimization. Also we have a limit of 15 Loc-Pins (the permanent marks that you can place on the map) so you can't rely on Loc-Pins to know all the locations.

Edit : btw I just checked Burning Claws was 14-15p for 3 months and suddenly dropped to 10p that's funny

One of my favorites platinum farms is meta arbi and selling the sculptures you get every week while also getting a bunch endo and vitus to buy kuva and galv mods too sell

Personally I like to run Nightmare missions to get Nightmare mods and Orokin Vault runs to get Corrupted mods. These often sell for anywhere between 10-50 plat depending on the mod and whether it's maxed out or not.

As a side note, always look for someone in chat already wanting to buy that mod you have. Whenever I post "WTS (insert mod here)" I almost never get replies but if I see someone post "WTB [Transient Fortitude]" and I already have some of those then I'll contact them and say "Hey I have Transient Fortitude, do you want it?"

Now sometimes you'll still get ignored but I've had MUCH more success selling mods this way. Just look for people who already want what you have.

Archon mods always sold for 30-40 p each. Veillbreaker probably annoying quest but quite fast if you just focus on the stocks.

and it would take longer to sell those mods than to actually get them. On paper this sounds good but it isnt something i would bother doing. Imo the best plat farm is the one that doesnt make you feel like youre farming, and is something you would do for free. This is not that activity
