If Christopher Reeve did make a cameo appearance in Supergirl, the movie would be such a hit that there would be a sequel. He decided to reprise the role of Superman for the 4th time when it was getting near the 50th anniversary of that iconic comic book hero.

That were nearly happen in the Supergirl movie if Christopher Reeves not get wet feed´s and turn of his part in the movie.The script was then fast rewritten. The only sign was a poster of Superman /Kal-el in Lucy Lane´s room. Kara and Lucy talked about him !

You know what's sad, as terrible a movie Supergirl was, the special effects (especially the flying effects) were far superior than those used in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, even though Supergirl was made several years earlier.
