What does the Nord Triple Pedal 2 give you that you can't accomplish with other cheaper pedals? In this video I break down my thoughts on the Nord Triple Pedal 2, different ways you can get similar functionality, and my opinion on whether I think it's worth it. Spoiler alert...I think it's worth it. I'm not sponsored and have no benefit to saying buy it, but I love my Nord Triple Pedal 2 and think the added realism and future potential functionality it gives the Nord Stage 4 makes it a worthy buy!

Kawai GFP-3 is the exact same pedal as the Nord Triple Pedal 2. It cost approx 55%.

Hi! I have the Nord Stage 4 and I want the sostenuto functionality of the middle pedal like on a Grand. Do you know if I have to buy the Nord Triple Pedal 2, or if the Nord Triple Pedal 1 would be compatible for that function?

NS4 newbie over here!
I just can’t find any instruction to how I can just use a single pedal as the damper pedal when I just use the piano section. Could you help me please?

An interesting fact is that the Yamaha FC3a (not 4a), gives the same response as the Nord SP-2. I've tried this (as I've just got a Nord Stage 4), and kept a FC3a pedal from a previous Yamaha keyboard. Tried when I got the Stage 4 just to see if it worked well, and it worked perfectly with the latest Nord firmware, and selecting Nord SP-2.

Is the triple pedal that came with the Nord Piano 5 the 2nd or 1st triple pedal? I have one but i traded my Piano 5 in for a Stage 4 today. The retailer told me to keep the triple pedal cus it won't change the trade-in price. How can I tell if my triple pedal is 1 or 2? Thanks

Cash grab by Nord, not giving access to the piano sustain samples (hiss and clunk) unless you buy the really expensive pedal.
All the piano samples I own that have that feature can be easily triggered by a regular sustain pedal.
