New fcy + safety car rules are totally pointless. Denied us ( you know, the people who should actually matter, the spectator. ) at least a couple of laps of racing at the end. Have one or the other. No need to have both 🙄

Up until this race, I thought British GT was the greatest production car road racing series extant. Fans pay to see green flag RACING laps, not yellow flag PACE laps. Why didn't the officials either: 1) throw the red and fix the damn fence, or 2) take a page from soccer//futbol and add "extra time"? British GT has proven they can be just as hapless and disrespectful of their fans as is NASCAR when they have a spin or wreck and spend a needless 5-10 laps to clear the track. This particular farce of a race was NOT British GT's "finest moment". The paying fans and TV audience deserved better.

52:05 All backwards, man. There’s no surface adhesion on a gravel trap, which makes them useless at stopping a car traveling at high speeds. It’s especially worse for a car with a flat under-tray, which travels across the surface of a gravel trap like a toboggan or skis over snow. A spinning car might be stopped by a gravel trap, but one plowing across said gravel trap…eh, not so much.
