I am from Myanmar. Here things are really horrible and brutal. Myanmar military coup even burned innocent people and children alive, just because they were against them. There is also a new policy, which is every people who are 18 or over 18 will have to serve in their cruel military. Of course, they need people to make human shields and sacrifice in certain areas(such as forcing them to walk through minefields). UN has also been doing nothing. At least, the UN should aid financially or give weapons to PDF, a type of army comprised of Myanmar young people and Gen Z to counterattack the military coup. And, the UN should also take action against Russia, China, and India for selling weapons to the Myanmar military, contributing to genocides here. For me, I cannot even get out of my house freely because I could get kidnapped by the military. Apparently, this is one of the forgotten genocides.

In all seriousness, military involvement is NEVER "not messy", and to be more specific, it is never 'not messy in really nasty ways".
At least a few bombs manage to find a children's hospital no matter how careful you are.

Military involvement has its place, but should only be after a very high bar, because it ALWAYS gets messy, no matter how good your intentions.
