117 Miles on The West Highland Way: Full Movie - Solo Hiking & Wild Camping 4K

The full length video of my journey on the West Highland Way!

I completed this journey in a total of 10 days as it was my first ever long distance hike, I took my time and had a rest day of completing just 4 miles on day 5.

I set off as a solo hiker, however on days 4 - 7 I walked with a couple other hikers I'd met on the trail.

I wild camped on 5 of the nights (Nights 1, 2, 6, 7 & 8), camped at a designated campsite on 3 of the nights (Nights 5, 9 & 10), and bothied on 2 of the nights (Nights 3 & 4).

I walked the way from milngavie to Fort William and a couple of years later from Fort William to Milngavie but never saw it properly ( especially along the side of Loch Lomond ) until I watched your video. You have shown it in a most beautiful, poetic and artistic way. If my knees would allow it I would do it again . I was born and have lived my life in Scotland a short drive from Milngavie . I have travelled in Europe and Asia but Scotland is still my favourite place and you have captured its Celtic essence in your wonderful video.
