It's painful to hear stories like this when it's so obvious there's zero future with this guy to everyone but the person involved.

I get it, I've been the one in deep confusion, clinging onto false hope, studying every last word in a text for clues of their secret love, being used as an emotional crutch by someone with no genuine interest in me.

As many others have said, real relationships do not feel like this in any way, there's no confusion, there's no decoding of secret messages (that's borderline mental illness.) They seem like "the one" only because of our internal longing for connection, not because they are actually special.

I finally moved away from my painful confusion and obsession with someone when I met the right person. The cloud was lifted, I saw how sick I'd been, how wrong I'd been. I offer this experience as a way to let people know if you're confused and the other person isn't reciprocating in a way that leaves you feeling reassured, you must move on immediately. There's nothing there and it's all time wasted and meaningless pain. Start dating, pursue interests that put you in contact with other people

Oh God, forgive my literal mind!
"Bang or to bang" in some parts of the U.S. means to have sex with.
Apparently someone isn't happy with what they paid for! Lol!!!

Do you have access to a pyrotenic store? Lucky you if so. There illegal where I live in dry Southern California. I have .8 square miles of watered lawn. So as neurodivergent person I always want to dismantle authority constructs. If is super dry like 2019 then no way. Otherwise I have key to everybody's sprinklers. I live condo complex. Neighbors like the $1200 of fireworks every fourth of July holiday that I set off. I wear goggles and fireproof mittens. I don't drink so never been problem. That's doesn't mean safety of course. I enjoy the use my eyes and hands a lot.Did I overshare?
