Karolina faces this BIG problem for the first time in her entire life. She is very afraid of insects especially ticks! And she found one of them. Her adorable puppy named Cashew got a tick. Karolina was crying and couldn’t do anything with it. I helped her to remove the tick from the dog. Karolina Protsenko was calming her cute puppy during this operation. 4 y.o. Leo Protsenko is filming this process.

Awe, just goes to show you....Karolina is still a young girl with all the emotion that can bring. Great job Dad; showing the calm, assertive parent to teach that "this too will pass".

This explains her enormous talent as a musician—she is a deeply emotional human being—-I think it’s beautiful.

I learned something new today . I have been removing ticks from our dogs all my life but never saw a fork put to such good purpose . Thank-you for that tip . Your sweet girl is a wonderful artist that I never get tired of . Love to you all !

I'm so sorry about Karolina. She is so sad about the dog's ear problem and finally she was able to romove the thing from her dogs"s hair. She gave a good support to her father to do it. Karolina is a strong girl. I'm proud of her

Karolina, I am in my late 50s, was in the U.S. Army with airborne, special ops, jungle warfare and survival training. I still have a fear of one single creature - centipedes. Whether 12” or 1”, I become a little squeamish child with them. They are my kryptonite. I have just learned to hold my reaction in until alone and then jump around yelling “yuck, gross, disgusting”. You did amazing helping your dad and dog. I admire you very much.

I think that we forget that she is still such a young girl when we hear her play with the magnificent ability way beyond her years! Although it saddened me to see her so upset for her puppy, it reminds us that she is, after all, a young teenage girl.

Hello. I'm french. there is another very effective product for removing a tick. It's ether (ordinary, bought in pharmacies) on a little cotton to put the tick to sleep deeply, then gently remove it with tweezers. Bravo Karolina to you and your family.

Aww...Karolina...it's okay sweetie. You're daddy took care of Cashew and he's okay now. Being an owner of two dogs, I'm glad you're daddy video this process with a plastic fork because he taught me something new. I hope you get a flea and tick collar for Cashew and also NexGard, which is a chewable that works from the inside-out, to kill fleas and ticks. Try this Karolina, it will keep Cashew safe. Also, you are so sad about this experience to your dog, imagine how your parents feel when YOU or your brothers go through something not good. It torments them emotionally because they love you and your brothers so much. You experienced the same emotional torment with your dog. You are growing up Karolina. You are a wonderful young lady ❤️ God bless you and your family 💙💜❤

Dogs, even pups are home to fleas and ticks Karolina. Just another daily duty to Cashew and motivation to brush him thoroughly but gently while checking his hidden skin. Don't be afraid of them any more than mosquitoes. Your veterinarian will help you decide on a good program to control them. A fork like your dad used was a good idea in this case but only after the tick is engorged. Finally, keep close watch all around his face, and near his eyes for early detection. I feel bad that you had to be frightened by this first disovery, but you Dad and Leo are the new Tick Busters in town. Study up on them and be more prepared for the years ahead. In fond memories of Molly I share this.

Oh sweet heart don't worry about being afraid of a tick. My husband is really terrified of snakes and roaches give me the chills. You are not alone in this at all.
