I used to say I wasn't a resort vacation kind of person, but lately it's been popping more and more into my mind! I've done a lot of active travel. My itineraries are always packed. I don’t return after 2 weeks off work refreshed, I return exhausted. I've climbed a volcano but never had one of these trips where I can pack cute outfits and lounge at the pool with drinks. And I've traveled the Yucatan up and down but never went inside one of these resorts! This place looked super nice.

Honestly for awhile I thought "All inclusive" meant that they had a lot of amenities and such you could purchase 😂 not it's covered by the initial payment

It is unsafe enough to eat and drink at all inclusive resorts. Doing that in Mexico is downright su*cidal. Lady, self-love never hurt anyone: romanticizing miserable and dangerous places for social media likes is about as low you can go.
