From what I've heard, PTX got the ultimate compliment when, before he passed away, Leonard Cohen (who wrote "Hallelujah") watched and heard this video and stated that it was the best version of his song he'd ever heard. Considering that everybody and their brother has covered this song, that's a hell of a compliment.

While Avi performs the verse - Scott sings in bass - he's a baritone. You can see it when they sing live.

The lineup: Scott (first singer) baritone with amazing range (who takes over the bassline when the bass singer leads), Avi (second verse), Kirstie (third lead) mezzo soprano, Mitch right on the cusp of counter tenor, and of course Kevin...beatboxer extraordinaire, who also plays the cello in some of their later covers. Each is incredible in his/her own right but together...so much more than the sum of their parts.
