I always thought the reason why they didn’t want to fuse is that it runs counter to the way Hantengu views himself. He inherently wants more people he can pass the blame to. More aliases. To merge means losing that and coming closer to admitting guilt.

Urami didn't really stay out of battle due to him being cowardly but more because he only comes out when Hantengu's being attacked because he's Hantengu's grudge. Because you know.. he's resentment.

I’d don’t think that urami wanted to stay out of the battle, I see urami as just the protect of the main body and only really come out when the main body is in real danger.

My theory is that he had split personality disorder. As in, multiple different people living in one body. And that's why he was able to create and sustain 5 separate bodies, each with their own powers and personalities

i wonder why the fear and despair emotion bodies didn’t also fuse in zohakuten and make it even more op. they don’t really have specific abilities like lightning or wind etc. but it would definitely make zoha more durable and stronger.

muichiro was drained from gyoko and mitsuri was a second away from dying to zoha so i think if they’d have done a full fusion than hantengu would have survived and won.

maybe 4 fusions is the max for zoha i doubt it tho, then obviously u got plot that would prevent hantengu winning either way.

I like zohakuten but I felt that his battle ended just a bit to quickly and was a bit bummed compared to the battle we got with upper moon 6

I think every other emotion is also capable of this, but instead of Zohakuten/hatred which is an emotion remniscient of anger, yhey could evolve into other forms. For example, Sorrow would be able to become Despair and so on.

Hantengu has 7 Forms. They resemble the 7 Basic Emotions. But the Problem is one or two are not the right Ones.
