Welcome back to the Drain Plug Mafia Channel where we focus on the the good, bad and the ugly of boating.

Some may ask what is a Googan well it's a term used by boaters to describe another boater, who intentionally or not acts with stupidity or disregard for other boaters.

We try to keep this fun and lighthearted not everyone in the video is a Googan and we do try and find some fun things on the water as well.

My neighbor calls those "poser" tires. Look fancy/cool, but suck in every condition other than bone dry.

That Dodge sounds great…😂. If you have the money to buy that boat (presuming it’s his), please just spring for the 4x4. It’s not going to affect your fuel mileage that much.

In all these videos down there I can’t believe with how steep those ramps are, with how smooth the ramps are. Up in our state the concrete ramps look like they used a rake to finish the ramps there so rough!

Truck launches boat into the water, only to need the boat to launch the truck back onto land.
All the work of boating, but without any actual boating.

The first one, I'd hate to be at those extreme busy launches, everyone watching, pacing, frustrated, etc. These guys put the boat on, so they could use the prop power to assist. 😂

That sailboat trailer should have had an extending tongue so that you can go long and get deep enough to launch or retrieve but then shorten it back up to drive. If not, they make wheels that go on the trailer tongue to do this without dragging the trailer!

I don't own a boat and have never launched or retrieved one from a ramp, BUT I have dealt with traction issues in winter due to snow/ice. Why not spread a small trail of sand under and ahead of the tires trying to grip. In this case, and probably many others, seems that could easily make the difference. Oh, we also carry heavy stuff in the back of our vehicles in winter as well and that too would contribute to more successful boat retrievals it would seem ...
